Tyler Perry's Why did I get Married

thanks for the reminder! i need a change of scenery so i may go check that out today.

I have plans to go see the movie next Friday when I go up to Atlanta to visit my FH. I asked him to come see it with me, letting him know that the trailer doesn't reveal it to be a "chick flick,", so he looked at it and said it looks ok and decided he'll go and see it with me! I am really excited to see this movie! I would have gone last night, but I'd rather wait and see it with my FH. Thanks for reassuring me that it is not a "chick flick," I'll let him know this came from someone who has actually seen the movie:) Did your FH go with you?

Thanks for not spoiling the movie for us! Some people will see a movie, and knowing you haven't see it yet, just start telling the whole plot! I quickly interrupt and say I plan to see it myself, so please don't spoil the movie for me! I will be back to discuss the movie as soon as I see it!! Thanks.

Was the movie anything like the play? I can't wait to see it. I need to find a theater with truck parking or truck parking nearby. I'm on my way to Massachussetts this weekend.

I'm new here, and just wanted to say that i went to go see the movie,
and it was interesting. I must say myself that it really made me love my fiance even more, and i definitely will not take his love for granted.

I just got back from seeing the movie. excellent is all i can say, more than i expected. please go and see this movie.

I can't wait to see it! FH and I will probably go this week.

I heard that the movie was good, however I am not a movie type of person, so I guess I will see it whenever it comes on HBO.

It was definitely awesome....We went on friday night...well me and my sister b/c DH thought it was a chick flick, and didn't want to see it...Plus it was premire night so he didn't want to deal with crowds....Anyways...worth the $$ to see this one...I didn't like how all the people in the theatre were being rude and immature on certain scenes...I don't do movies the night they come out anymore because of this...me and DH like to go when the mature adults are attending...Can you say Matinee?

This is true.. I must have had the worst seat in the house. I had a man in back of me whose name must have been bigfoot because everytime he laughed his horrible laugh he kicked my dang chair, then I had a big woman in front of me(not that I have anything against big women we are beautiful in all shapes and sizes)who turned her movie chair into a real reclining chair and everytime she laughed it hit my leg. So I kindly turned to the gentleman behind me and said can you please stop kicking my dang chair LOL not so nice but i was aggravated. needless to say he got my drift and the kicking stoped. I did not bother the lady in front of me because maybe she could not help it and she was with her boo so I left her alone(I have a heart) so I watched the rest of the movie with my leg wide open like a man.lol.

With all that said I still enjoyed the movie. Gotta get it on DVD when it comes out. Gotta see this one ladies, let FH and DH know this one is for the men too.

I feel your pain, Sensationably! I used to hate going to the theater because I always ended up sitting behind a hoochie with a 3 foot tall ponytail on her head or people that yell at the movie (like the actors can really hear them).

Okay I'm dying to talk about this movie but I don't want to ruin it for others. Let's decide on a date where it's fair game to talk about the movie. I think by next weekend it should be okay to talk about. What do you ladies think?

It's not fair!! The film doesn't come out here for ages! I always have to get my black film fix through pirate DVD's! I'm going to order my copy now so next weekend should be fine!!

I'm going to see my FH this weekend, and we have plans to see it Friday or Sat, so this weekend is fine with me too! I cannot wait to see this movie:)

I LOVED this movie! My DH and I went to the movies Sat and were glued to the screen for the duration. As other ladies have said, certainly not a chick flick and well worth the $. I'll be looking forward to next week when we can talk abt it.

Saw it last night ...so I'm ret!

I saw it Saturday night and it was in my opinion, one of the best movies he's made. Please, please go see it ladies. And take your FH with you. It is well worth the money and the time! Tyler Perry did his thing again. Oh, and it is very, very similar to the play, but MUUUUUUUCH better. I can't wait until we can start talking about it. lol We'll give you ladies 3 weeks to go see it. :-)

Sept that is too true! This movie is an easy classic! It is worth the thousand dollars to go see it :) (Movies are too expensive)

I saw it Saturday with FH-

I gave it ***** stars me and fh seen it this past weekend and it was really an eye opener for the both of us.

I saw the movie Saturday with my FH! It was everything I thought it would be and more! He really liked it also. Definitely his best movie in my opinion. A friend of mine has seen it three times already...lol!

The movie was the BOMB!!!!!!! I was glued to the screen!

DH & I also have seen the movie... Absolutely fabulous! I loved every minute of it & I can't wait to dicuss!!! Hurry, ladies, hurry!!!

I agree that it is time to discuss this movie! My friends and I have been talking about the film for awhile now.
