The store is closed on Sunday's but I'll come in to accommodate large parties. Well I came in on several Sunday's for a party because the planner said they couldn't come in any other day. So every time I would schedule their appointments and they would never show up on time. So one Sunday they show up an hour late with an entourage! Her cousin has the two flowergirls and need them fitted, with no appointment (the appointment was strictly for the bride this time). Well the chick wanted the alterations to be free, but she bougth the gown from another store! She had an attitude because I wouldn't do them for free, WHAT!! Them the bride wouldn't put the gown on because she didn't want anyone to see it, my question is "why did you bring them'? When I asked her that, she asked me "what is my problem you have an attitude". So I told her 'yes I have an attitude, you show up late for every appointment, you bring an entourage and you don't want them to see the gown, you have your cousin here giving fever over a dress she didn't buy from here, and you snap at me about my attitude?' I had another group coming in right after them, so the appointments ran into each other. Long story short when it was said and done the bride apologized for being inconsiderate. Her planner told her to come in whenever she could. WHAT!!! So this same planner has two other brides buying their gowns from us, so I let her know that I will not tolerate this type of madness with the other groups.

Niquey I like your style for speaking up and letting them know exactly how you felt. Being inconsiderate is unacceptable! The nerve of the cousin wanting alterations done free for a dress that was not purchased at your shop! Wow, that is truly off da hook! The nerve! I'm also glad to hear that the bride was considerate enough to apologize -- good for her. This experience will teach her to think things out clearly. How could you bring an entourage and not try the dress on because you don't want anyone to see it.

When I said I was trying to accommodate her, she said 'it's not like you're going out of your way for us'. WHAT!? I quickly informed her that yes I was going out of my way coming into the store on a day that I'm normally closed to take care of her. I just don't understand some people!

Now that just takes nerve!!!! Some people are falsely under the impression that the world revolves around them. NOT!!! Sistagurl got a rude awakening this past Sunday! LOL!!!

I usually have a great relationship with all my brides. Chicky had her planner doing everything and didn't want to be involved until the last minute. I would relay things to the planner and she wasn't telling the bride. The planner would tell me how unhappy she was planning the wedding because the couple wasn't paying her. You get what you pay for!

She wasn't fired, but she didn't get paid either!

Which is why ms. planner was half-stepping, not giving a crap!
I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.

So true, you get what you pay for! And in some instances when you don't pay, people don't give two cents about how they are handling your wedding.

You did what you had to do Niquey. They had some nerve. Some people just don't understand or "get it."

I feel sorry for her because they were friends. She was also going to do the coordinating of a wedding for on of the BM's in the same group. She had already put in hours with this girl and after the ceremony the BM tells her, 'I no longer need your services, I don't care for the way you handle this wedding.' Holy stink!! These broads are void of class!! That same chick was asked to sign a waiver by RK Bridal stating that she would not return to their establishment. Can you imagine being asked to 'Never Return'?! But that's what happens when you don't put things on paper.

Wow, being asked not to return to an establishment, now that is just terrible!!! She must have showed her butt big time!
