Hello, I need some help. My husband and I will be married ten years in May 2007. We have been through alot (deployment to Afg. and missing the birth of first child, adultery, etc.) by the grace of God we are still together. So we want to renewal our vows as a fresh start. I have decieded to wear my original wedding dress. I have not been able to find anything regarding ceremony, reception. We have thought about a King and Queen theme, before we enter someone will blow and horn and announce our entrance. I am not really sure about this. Please help me.

Welcome! I am all for renewing your vows. I am glad to see you are fighting for your marriage and want to celebrate your love. I love the king and queen theme. Is it medival or African or what? I like when flowergirls are older and all the bridesmaids toss fresh flowers in the air it will still be fluttering to the ground as you walk down the aisle!

Thank you guys so much for your responses. We live in Texas about 1 and 45 minutes from Dallas. My colors are purple and white. We are both really excited about this. Yesterday we went and picked out annivesary bands. I was going to buy a new dress and the lady at the dress shop suggested rewearing my original gown, she suggested that I add a ribbon onto the back and emborier it with our orignal date and the vow renewal date, so I decieded to do this. We have a big wedding the first time, I do not want this to be as big as the wedding something same and nice. I have some ideas, but I have read not do anything that will resemble a wedding. We are on a tight budget. Thank you guys so much. I am just going on and on I am so excited. lol

For your theme I love it! There is so much you can do with it. For the reception you can have throwns for you and your hubby to sit in....and much more that you have time to plan for. Ypu chose the right colors too....Purple is the color for royalty! I will be looking for stuff I think you may like......
Diamond thanks for the site...I have been looking for headpieces that were full circle......I like tiaras but theres something about the fullness of the "crown" that I like more. Since I wore a tiara to my prom (I was a little princess) I thought I would upgrade to a crown for my wedding..but not too big tho.
