Hey ladees, I noticed nobody posted in a while, but leave it to me to write a book each time I comment....Plat...girl I took your advice on that lemon water and all I got to say is mmm mmm mmmm....
it's been almost 2 weeks since I started back using Proactiv and may I say I look marvelous? I found out that all I needed was a moisturizer...I'm still using the oil of olay mositurizer for combination to oily plus sunscreen and I am now using the the night time firming one.
I decided not to use the Mary Kay. However, Mary Kay has this foundation that is to die for. Not your average foundation. It is really light, like water and you only need to apply a little bit.
I found out that along with sunscreen, we should also wear a foundation which acts as a barrier between your face and the atmosphere, so instead of the nasty stuff getting into your face and into your pores, it gets stuck to the foundation. What do you do when you get home? Wash your face, and in the process, all of the yuckiness! It's like an invisible shield for your face.

I am a big advocate of foundation too. Not for health benefits, but i love a flawless looking complexion. Even if you are not a "make up" wearer, light foundation and chapstick can have you looking model fierce even on a saturday morning.

I'll keep that in mind. I'm not a makeup person. I'm not sure if i'm going to wear makeup on the big day or not. So confused...I don't even know where to start.
I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.
Delight yourself also in the Lord & He shall give you all the desires of your heart.-Psalm 37:4
I think I'm going to start wearing make-up to work. I'm modifing my image, when I was a manager at Macy's I wore suits every day. Somewhere down the line I turned into this jeans and t-shirt, sneaker wearing mommy. I'm going back to the hot momma I was before Gregory.
Living my life like it's GOLDEN!!
I usually don't wear make up. I am a lip gloss girl and ocassional I will use face powder to take away the shine. I will be wearing make-up on my wedding day. I have a few days off this month and I will be hitting the make-up counters for my free make overs. I can't wait.
Delight yourself in The Lord & He will give you the desires of your heart!Ps 37
The free make up tips are the best at the good counters. Do try your local Saks or other high end make up counter to get the best ideas. They usually only hire professional make up artisits to push thier products. So instead of paying $250 a session you will get a professional consult for free. My Fav is the prescriptives counter in Saks New Orleans. 3 seprate looks from nude, barely there natural to formal event glam. I just love that. No charge to me at all and I can order my looks at any counter in the country!

Rosetta, I'm intrigued by this chapstick stuff too. What brand will work or does it matter?

My favorite make-up is Lancome because it's not heavy. I also use Max Factor. But when I'm feeling like a hottie I wear a deep lip color with my MAC lip glass. I'm making an appointment for me and my SIL at Elizabeth Arden's Red Door Spa for facials. I'm a little scared though, cause we both have very sensitive skin.

I agree, but she is the CEOs Executive Assistant, I am not touching that one!
Delight yourself in The Lord & He will give you the desires of your heart!Ps 37
Nah see...the CEO wrong fa dat...how she could let her come to work dress that way...no way, you gatta me kidding me.
Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.
Yes she is very wrong for dat. But if anybody can get away with that, it is the CEO (and her assistant). Now everyone else is expected to adhere to the dress code, and if they don't they are given a warning.
Delight yourself in The Lord & He will give you the desires of your heart!Ps 37
That's just wrong...and to think this assistant makes appointments, plans meetings and greets visitors when they come to her boss...oh my gosh!
Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.
From what I hear, she's really good at what she does. So I guess the CEO just overlooks her appearance.
