Hello all I am really dissapointed because we have to push the wedding back again. Now we will be getting married on June 30, 2007. It was the earliest the reception site could give us because everything was booked and we already had our $500 down for the September 2, 2006 date. I just want to sell everything I spent $3000 on wedding stuff. It's pushed back because I found out I had to pay for my summer tuition, and they messed up FH big pay for this month to pay for the reception. I am sad, but feel a little relieved that I can concentrate on school better now I guess. I only told people in the wedding party so far and they all got there dresses and the GM even got fitted and paid for their tux's. Some of the out of towners paid their room reservation too, i'm so embaressed what can I do.

Hello! Well I

It will all work out in time just Pray
VirtuousV, can't you save all the wedding stuff you bought for your new wedding date?
I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.
Delight yourself also in the Lord & He shall give you all the desires of your heart.-Psalm 37:4
Virtous,Cin is right.I know it's frustrating to push the date back. Many of us,including myself, have had to do the same thing.Just pray. This was a blessing, you even said so yourself. Now you can concentrate on school. And, you have more time to really get things in order for your wedding.Don't sell your things because you'll only have to spend another $3000 trying to replace them.Keep ya head up!
Born Blessed!
Thank you all. I was just upset and didn't want to see no wedding stuff to remind me. I got the wedding invitations, my veil, shoes, kids dresses, center pieces, wedding favors, paid the florist, and got my dress. What can I do so that the white stuff doesn't turn yellow I heard that can happen.
Like some of the other ladies said, keep your head up. I know how frustrating it is to watch things almost unravel right before your eyes but take comfort in your strength and wisdom, its a smart choice to wait until things fall back into place. Take it from a wife who would've liked to have the presence of mind to just postpone, the extra time will help. As far as your dress, perhaps the shop you got it from has dress preservation kits, or maybe you could try online too.
