Hi Platinumstyle, go ahead and wear your flats. Lot's of people wear flats. I will be wearing a low heal myself, simply because I want to be comfortable.

You had BETTER wear flats! I wore these BAAAAD shoes. I loved them for 15 minutes. I actually was switching from foot to foot when the bishop stopped and whipered take them off. [lol]

Rosetta you are so funny...but it does pay to be beautiful [lol]. Platinum girl you can wear those gorgeous flat white satin ballet shoes and accentuate them with some precious little rosetts, I'm sure Phenomonique can find you something cute.

I'm not sure about what to do when it comes to my bridesmaids shoes. I want them to be comfortable. I've gone to weddings wear everyone wears the same shoes, I've seen the same color shoes but different styles. What are you ladies doing for your brides maids shoes. What did the already married couples do? Thanks for your help.

Personally, I like uniformity--that's only my selfish opinion.

I think it's perfectly fine for bridesmaids to pick there own shoes as long as they are the same colors. That way they'll find shoes they're comfortable in.

I really don't have any preference. I will give them a choice and let them decide for themselves.

Rhonda, I chose the dresses they can pick their own shoes. I just want them to be the same color. The only shoes I'll maybe pick myself would be for my neices(FG and Jr BM)

Did your girls have any input at all about the dresses...that one I am a little uncomfortable about.

I selected two dresses from them to choose from and they all unanimously chose the same dress. Since each lady is paying for their dress, I want them to actually like the dress. So far, things have been smooth sailing (thank God)!

I was the MOH for my friend's wedding. She didn't allow anyone to have input; even though we all paid for our dresses. The dress was soooooooo UGLY!!! I didn't want to cause any friction, so I wore the dress because I knew it would make her happy. That dress was one that couldn't ever be worn again -- it looked like a costume for a Halloween party -- just OOOOOOGLY. I didn't want my ladies to feel like I felt.

Ain't nothing worst than an ugly, bad-mood looking shoes. I found some cuties from Saugus Shoes.

[lol]Girl you are so funny! Consider how you felt then decide. How about a choice of bridesmaid dress and shoes by bridesmaid vote? I know, I kow. But they wouldn't be your friends if you didn't value their opinion now would you???

My bridemaids just saw the dresses I picked for them last Saturday. Well, that is what happens when I asked them over and over to meet me at the bridal shop and noone ever showed.Huh, they got on the ball and found some shoes quick, fast and in a hurry.

L_Vet that is too funny (lol)! Rosetta, I've heard horror stories about things that go on between brides and their bridal parties. I just hope things continue to go well for us!

Vetty I have a question for you......did they jump to find shoes becuase they are afraid if you pick them they may be as ugly as the dress or is it that they were overwhelmed by how gorgeous the dress is that they just could not wait to go find the perfect pair of shoes?

Actually Charlotte, I guess they realized they blew it when I told them they could pick their own dress and they decided to blow me off. So, after I told them my decision on the dress was final they figured they'd better act like they were a little more interested in their part of the process. I'm one of those people who sees something I want then looks at the price.

Now I saw a pair of Kenneth Cole shoes that were HOT. I guess they didn't want to spend three digits for them. They were HOT though.

Woman is to shoes as human is to air---gatta have em no matter the cost, did your girls say no? they may surprise you and to encourage them introduce them to Mr. Lay-A-Away :-)Remember shoes makes the outfit.

That is so true. I just mat have to selfish and claim those babies for myself.
