My daughter & I were having a conversation recently about the fact that her dad & my FH's groomsmen have two left feet and absolutely no rhythm at all (bless their hearts!!!!). We have seen these guys in action --I'm worried!!!! What do you do when someone has to make it down the aisle to the beat of a song and can't stay on beat. I want to come up with a step that is simple so that these guys won't have a hard time or look like a big mess of jerking, stumbling, tripping groomsmen. Any suggestions on something that will be full proof? Help!!!!!!

beat is no problem. Have them march when they practice. literally saying left right left right over and over in their heads. Chose something simple too. no elaborate r&b hits. That can make the rhythmicly challenged freak out. [lol]

Thanks Rosetta, I am cracking up over here. They are rhythmically challenged -- I love them though, they are great guys! I will keep it simple and remember to literally say left, right, left when we rehearse.

Whatever song you choose, let them know about it ahead of time so they can listen to it on there on time and familiarize themsselves with the beat. My son and my neice who are my Junior maid and groomsman are so clumbsy. I had them listen to the bass beat in the song and walk to the beat. right...pause...left...pause. They did just fine. Don't worry, they'll be okay.
Great suggestion Nlbostic, I'm going to make a tape and give it to them to listen to in their spare time. Thank you!

Well Ronny seeing that you are having an elegant victorian wedding try to keep it very classy and if they are as challenged as you say they are then just let them glide...
Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.
Great ideas ladies! How about forcing them to take dance classes for the reception? I wish I had done that. I went to a wedding in St. Croix last year and the bridal party opened the floor with a choreographed dance. It was a foxtrot. It looked like a grown up deb ball. everyone jumped to their feet and applauded at the end. I heard that none of the guys could follow the beat before!

Blessed be the Lord my strength ......
Whatever seductive plans you'll may have..try to at least let your guest enjoy a little fun, if you are too seductive, the party could end abruptly by your new husband so be Circumscept ok and do not be like me...I was too seductive, 3 months later I was pregnant and 6 months after I had my baby I was pregnant again, so watch out for those dances LOLOL :-)
