I just responded a favor post, and it got me wondering....
What is everyone doing for favors? What do they look like/what is included? Are you doing special separate favors for your wedding party? Share!

I'm doing simple favors, little personalized tins w/ mints. I'll have them one per place setting.
curious too about what others are doing too.
My favors will be puzzles with our picture, name, and wedding date on them. It will come in a tin can that has the same picture, wedding date, and names on it as the puzzle. The ribbon that will be attached to the puzzle will say putting togethor the pieces of our love.

housewife that is a cute idea. since we did not want to go overboard with the 07/07 theme of luck we are having pink wrapped chocolates in brown tulle with a pink ribbon and attach lotto scarth off tix for the luck portion of the day.
I really like the puzzle idea how and where did you find that. I thought about doing the votive candle and a favor not sure yet.
Southerngirl.....
Housewife, I like your puzzle idea! FH and I are giving away CDs with some of favorite wedding songs. The CD cover will have our picture.
Born Blessed!
Our favors are gourmet-looking bags with our wedding logo and our names filled with our favoriet cookie: Chocolate Chips & white chocolate chips. The bags will be tied with the tiffany blue colored ribbon. My brother who is a graphic designer designed the logos for the bags, and my friend & classmate who is a professional chef is baking the cookies for me for free as a wedding gift. The whole thing is costing me about 30.00 total for the ribbon, bags and sticky paper to print the logos.

Because I like to be crafty, I'm thinking of making soaps, or candles, or I love the cookie idea. I'm all for something useful

That's really neat! How big are the puzzles when assembled? I know someone doing playing cards with their pictures on them, and she is scaling down the card size to fit them in the tins.
Man, ya'll got some great ideas here! We ALL are going to have very memorable weddings. I love ya'll.

My favors are picture frames that have hearts on them. They are not the typical favor size frames but a little bigger. We are having an picture done prior to so there will be a photo inside already. My bridal party are receiving gift bags that include several things. Double heart key chains, scented votive candles and silver heart shaped trinket boxes. I've been planning for some time so I keep adding things but I'm trying to stop.LOL

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME; ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD. WHEN IN DOUBT, PRAY
Thank you Classy - they are candles. :-)
I didn't respond to my own post.
Well, I am doing Bob's peppermints and a mixture of the big round mints (not dinner mints) in bags with tissue paper and personalized ribbon with the whole "Mint to Be" thing. Then I found out a surprise favor from the wedding facility lady running her mouth: My FMIL and the coordinator are doing picture frames with the guests names on them (I'm thinking that's how they are going to solve the "important people will be the ones eating and those who are just showing up will not" issue). I also ordered wedding sparklers. My groomsmen and bridesmaids have personalized drinking glasses with their first and last names engraved.
We're doing photo favors. Each guest takes a professional picture w/ spouse during cocktail hour. At the end of the night the pictures will be framed (with our name & wedding date) for the guest to take home. I didn't want to do anything that would be thrown away. I figured, who would throw away a professional pic of themselves all dressed up.
If you're in the Tristate area. Here's the link to the website

I did personalized teabags and a CD soundtrack of all of the music that was played during the wedding ceremony and reception.

Yes I've seen them before, just wanted to give you another compliment. Most of these ladies are "new", they don't know that I've seen it before (why you had to blow up my spot)-- so stop laughing at me -- LOL!!!!!

we did tootsie roll organza bags in brown ... they don't require as much candy as other bags so we didn't end up spending a fortune on the candy...and they turned out so cute! everyone raved about them !
Those are really cute - and welcome to the board zanne71!
