Hey everyone I'm not going to have my honeymoon until after our first year of marriage. This is due to the fact that we won't have the money to do anything after the wedding. My question is since I'll be marrying into an instant family (1 son) what do we do with him. We thought about going on a cruise that way little man can have his own fun on the other side of the boat. PLZ someone help me out with this one!!!!!???

Now if you really want to take you child with you to your honeymoon why don't you try a cruise or orlando florida. They have honeymoon packages and a cruise line. Now if you really want to spend time alone with your new husband then I would let your child stay with a relative or someone that you can trust until you guys got back.
I'm probably too late to answer but I will anyway. My fiance and I have a child together already and his mom is going to watch him while we go on our honeymoon. We weren't even planning to take one but his mom suggested we should. Maybe someone in your family will keep him for you unless you really want him included in your honeymoon.
It is very possible to have a honeymoon with a child. We have 3 children and were married a few months ago. We arranged for my mother to keep the children and we took a 7 night Carribean cruise on Celebrity Cruiseline and it was the best time ever. A cruise will enable you to see many different places at one time, which is hard to do with children if you take each vacation at different times. Even if you have to split the amount of days that your child is being cared for with different relatives, it will be great. You will get a honeymoon, parenting break and time for you and your spouse to really enjoy each other without the daily stresses of parenthood (atleast for a little while) :-)
Thank you some much I will look into both of those ideas.

One of my personal favorites is Beaches Family Resorts. You can actually HAVE a honeymoon. There are so many activities for the children you would hardly even SEE them! Then they are plum tucked out at night. LOL. This way you can enjoy the honeymoon without worring about your child. I know I freak when away from our dauughter. Sigh. The burdens of motherhood! There is a great sale going on too with Sandsls. Book before July 12 and Save up to 50% at Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa and Resort, this December 9-February 9, in beautiful Nassau.

Thanks Rosetta I'll look over that site with my fiance. I know what you mean about motherhood. I just don't want to leave him out. You know!!!!

Cogicbride - I know the feeling, both of our children were in the wedding as was my husband's 13 yr old daughter. WE postponed our honeymoon until this year and planned to do a honeymoon/1 st anniversary trip. But I got pregnant and now were expecting our 3rd and final addition. YOu can look into the Disney Cruises, we took one with all the kids and loved it. You won't see your kids and when you do it'll be just in passing:) IT's romantic and everything. - good luck.

You guys should visit Carnival.com now for specials on cruises to The Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexico and more. Sail for as little as $259! And They are great for kids. I am taking my 14 month old daughter with me. It will be her 2nd cruise! I would not do this any other way and Carnival is fun!
