Hi ladies, as you know this wedding stuff is all new to me and I have learned so much from you. I know that the bridal party, and parents get invited to the rehearsal dinner. Are other people supposed to be there. For example, do I invite my sister-in-law who will be lighting the memorial candle, my aunt who will be saying a prayer, cousin who will recite a poem, etc, ushers & hostesses? FH and I will be paying for everything whether we decide to do it at home or if we do it in a restaurant. If we have to invite all of these people, we will probably do a restaurant. I have thank you gifts for everyone that participates in my wedding, but I just want to be prepared.

Rony as long as these people have things to do in the wedding I don't think they need an actual invitationk, they will be there anyway.

Rony, good question. I was actually wondering the same thing. My rehearsal will be at a restaurant right after the rehearsal. I sent out my invitations 2 days ago, but some wedding participants I didn't invite. Should I??? tell me quick so I still have time to send an invitation. I excluded 2 of the readers and I only excluded them because I wasn't sure if they needed to be at the rehearsal. Do they?
I didn't know if I would include all of them. I went to a wedding rehearsal in Sept last year and they only had the bridal party, parents, ring bearer, etc. They didn't do a complete run through. The entire rehearsal was basically practicing the march down the aisle. How many of you are doing a complete run through? Don't mean to sound crazy, but I honestly don't know.

At my rehearsal dinner, I will have everyone there that attended the rehearsal.

That is my plan. At my sister's rehearsal, 50% of the people weren't there. Although the wedding turned out nice, I noticed things that should've been figured out at the rehearsal.
OK Ladies listen.....at the rehearsal.....you go and actually rehears the entire event...thus the word "rehearsal". After that you feed the people. Attendants do not need invitations unless you are trying to tell them buy you gifts because the gift selection card is in the invite.....if not, they do not need one because they know where it is and when it is.
