KeepUp I am almost ready to start it. Sometimes I forget it's right around the corner I need to put a little pep in my step, girl because I am far behind.
Queenbee, you're only a month or so out! How are you feeling? What do you have left to do? I had the undies made by a chick from another wedding site. Here's her contact info: Custom bling undies & tanks! megscrosby@gmail.com

Thanks Keepup for the info!!!
Well one of my bridesmaids still have not pay for her dress, my FH sister wedding is coming up at the end of this month and my daughter is also in her wedding. I still need to order my program but I'm not sure if the girl is going to pay for her dress. So I'm trying to wait before I put her name on my program to make sure she going to be in the wedding. Guess you could say I'm a little stress out . Oh did I mention that my dress still is not in, the company that I order from said that the designer is a little behind..
queenbee - Don't worry. It'll all fall into place. Let us know if you need anything.
My aunt is making my favors. She is just doing a round candy dish (sticking with the circle theme) with peppermints wrapped in tulle. I'm also doing a candy buffet. I was thinking of sending each guest we get captured on film a picture of them with their thank you cards since I will have the rights to the photos. Right now "favors" are low on the list! LOL!
Here's where I am now:
Still waiting on Mr. Man's: GM names, guest list, and clothing choices!
I started my cake table runner yesterday (painting our monogram and a ribbon trim). Just have to finish painting in the last name and get some fabric tape for the trim.
I'll start on the aisle runner today (same thing as table runner but different monogram).
Ordering the BM dresses tomorrow. My daughter's dress arrived yesterday. It was gorgeous but had a stain so their sending another. My niece's will be here tomorrow, just need to find her shoes.
Still have to pick up more ribbon to finish the rest of the inivitations and print the labels so they can go out this weekend.
Plan to order the paper for the programs this week.
Okay, I do remember you mentioning your aunt doing the peppermint dish favors. You're doing so much that it's good to see you have the help in that area. Girl you gots to start delegating more things!!!

Future I did this with my Thank you cards and also my wedding party-any pics that I had of them alone or as a group I got dups and gave to them also...everyone loved it!!
I'm trying Pam! These heffas are too busy! LOL! My MatronOH told me to give her wone more week until school lets out (teacher) and another BM said the same (daughter graduating HS). One BM called me last night and let me know she quit her job so has some free time this month (don't worry - she's a big saver, makes close to 6-figures, and has no children). MOH lives in Mississippi so can't help. Other BM lives in downstate IL but came up and helped me Memorial Day weekend.
I have a DOC/decorater that will:
Navigate the rehearsal
Decorate the sanctuary and fellowship hall
Help with floral arrangements and bouquets
Keep us on task and on time during pictures (before ceremony)
Coordinate vendors and payments
Oversee clean-up
Make sure our gifts and personal items are returned to us
Help with any last minute details

Here's the runner for my cake table. It also has a red bibbon trim. My hand was a little shaky at first but now I've perfected the procedure for my aisle runner!
Future, you are on the ball... That is perfect, YOU ARE GOOD!! I never thought of doing a runner for the cake table.GREAT IDEA.
I cant wait to see the aisle runner.

Green with envy because I suck at DIY'S LOL. This is absolutely beautiful.
Nice runner Future. You did a great job. Now how will it be displayed, flat on table where you view from overhead or hanging off table where you can view it from afar?

Thanks ladies! Pam it will be hanging down in front of the table like this:

This aisle runner is a beast though! The monogram is more intricate so it's more time-comsuming then the table runner. I was thinking of adding a 4 line poem also but am reconsidering that! The poem would read:
From this day forward
You shall not walk alone
My heart will be your shelter
My arms will be your home.
It would be at the beginning of the aisle while the monogram would be at the middle.
That is so nice. How long does it take to make the runner. I teach but this is the last week of school so I was gonna try to do a monogram since I have some free time but maybe I can give the cake table runner a try because that is really nice.
The table runner took about two hours (with two distracting kids bugging me)!
The aisle runner has taken two hours so far, with a little more than 1/2 the monogram outlined. It will take about another 1 1/2 hours to finish outlining then about 1 hour to paint it in for about 5 hours total.
I'm using cotton muslin fabric I got from Joanns for 99 cents a yard (now $1.49/yd). It is 36" wide. The runner is doubled so its 18" wide by 3 feet long. The aisle runner will be 36" wide by 75 feet long. I used fabric paint to outline ($1/bottle 1-oz) and acrylic paint to fill it in ($1/ bottle 2-oz).

Future I had planned to use that same exact poem on the front of my wedding programs but changed my mind at the last mind due to some spacing issues. I'm not even sure how I learned about that poem. I've been a member on here since 2004 but never actually posted anything until after my wedding so it's a good chance I found it on here somewhere...LOL
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"
I think I did get it from here also Pam. From one of Rosie's posts I think.
Making progress on the aisle runner. Just have to add our names and the date. Then of course the ribbon border. Once I get a few other things off my plate I'll make a decision on adding the poem.
Wow, the runner is coming out gorgeous. Looks very regal. You should turn it into a wall tapestry after the wedding. You could display it later in a shadow box wall hanging. Good job.
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"
Thanks ladies. Its a tedious job but the kids were so interested they watched intently as I painted instead of distracting me! My son grabbed the camera and started taking pictures. Keeping them off of it while it dried was a different story though! LOL!
Pam, we're actually having it made into a quilt after the wedding. The lady is ketting some of our pictures printed onto fabric and adding those in as well. It should be really nice. The table runner was being made into a pillow, but the tapestry in a shadowbox sounds even better to me! Thanks!
