DIY Layered Wedding Programs

Those are nice i thought about doing the fan shaped programs since i was having an outdoor weddding.

Welcome djimonsmom! I don't have any instructions for invitations but check out [url]www.cardsandpockets.com[/url]. They sell the paper for really nice pocketfold invitations.

I forgot how beautiful these layered invitations were!! Now that I'm actuallly thinking about my invitations, these seem like a good idea. Any ideas how I can incorporate my Caribbean Valentine theme into these DIY layered invitations?

I am not sure if I'll be able to do these - they look complicated - but I'm going to give it a go!!

I have fallen in love with the design of that program. That's what people around here would consider "different" and that's EXACTLY what I'm going for. This site is such a blessing!!!!!

Djimonsmom the time really depends on how many you're making. For my trial the most time-consuming part was the formatting. I cut them myself but for the final product I'll more than likely use Kinko's for that. Then its just the assembly. I'm thinking we'll do teams:
stackers
hole-punchers
ribbons

Future ...do you have one done already, so we can see yours?

Question ladies! Quick before I order (please)

I am getting burgundy backing (card stock), cream paper for inserts, gold ribbon ...now here is the question ...I found gold vellum ...is the gold vellum over kill and I should just stick with the cream vellum...or do you think the gold vellum will give pazazz?

Keep it simple T. Gold vellum is definitely overkill, in my humble opinion.

I haven't but one together, just lined everything up for formatting.

I'm in love with the layered thing! Are you using vellum too? Doesn't look like it's used with this one, and I still like it ...saving more money!

Ladies, where can i find the bone scorer? Is there another name for it? I've searched Staples and Office Depot and can't find it under this name.

BONE SCORER: Use to make neat and even crease/fold in cardstock flap that folds over the program.

Step-by-Step Instructions

STEP 1: Using bone scorer, fold about a 1-inch flap at the top of the cardstock backing.

Any craft store should have them. Check Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

On each individual sheet, what size font did you use? I'm running into some issues with trying to get everything to fit onto the pages.

Djimonsmom, I used whatever font size was on the template I sent with Crystal and Marlon. I played around with different fonts and sizes so all my info would fit. HTH!
