Copper,where were you last year when my FH and I met a guy about a trucking job?He wanted us to come to his house.You would been disgusted.I'm glad he and his family weren't in the food service industry.Girl,I have never seen a house that nasty in my life!!The house was so nasty,even the roaches were trying to it clean up!!
I'm serious.My skin was crawling the whole time we were there.When they offered me a canned soda,I declined even though I was seriously dehydrated.Now,I can understand if we showed up without warning but they knew we were coming.And they still did bother to clean up!I think a roach told my FH that he couldn't stay there anymore.It was too nasty even for him!

I'm a patient care tech which is being a Nurse aid plus drawing blood and EKG's along with other tests in the hospital and i'm a nursing student.

I just think it is so nice how us sistahs are doing our thang especially since we have so many things against us like having the highest rate of HIV than any other sex or race, having a lot of our black men only dating white women (I don't have anything against white women) and having a rep. of being mean or ghetto. I just want to tell all of you KEEP doing what you DO!
I'm a Food and Nutrition Student going for my MS. I do a lot of research on childhood obesity (primarily middle school age) and chronic disease prevention in minorities. I teach a Nutrition Course for undergrads starting in August, but I have co-authored some publications and grants as a result of that research. I also work part-time as a mentor coordinator for the Girl Scout Council in this area as part of another grant-So I basically mentor middle school girls about everything at different schools in this area. I am on the computer a lot due to the research and I travel a lot with my laptop from my job. I also do Mary Kay on the side. I used to travel on medical trips to help the doctors but my last trip got me so sick I won't go this year. I hope to become an Registered Dietician after I finish my internship next August and maybe work for WIC or the state government as a Public Health Nutritionist. Maybe i'll write grants and proposal to increase funding for WIC or something. I'll guess I'll get my PhD later. I don't have much of a life, but now my FH works in our college in the Technology Division so we do lunch from time to time. But he's really busy too. But Thats me in a nutshell:)
