Sure Diva. Are you looking for something long and free-flowing? What type of styles do you have in mind?

Re: tiara and veil or not

Bump!

Many bride's magazines and shows this year are saying that tiara's are out. I wasn't going to wear one at first, maybe just a headband. But after I picked out the jewelry I liked, the only thing that seemed right was a tiara. So, I put that bad girl on my head and wore it with pride, fashion be darned. When else are you going to be able to wear a tiara and people not look at you like you're crazy? Fashion is your personal style. "Sashay, sashay."

I think I'm going to go all the way out.. You're right, "when else can you wear a tiara"?

I want it all, heck.. I'm only gonna do this once :)

LOL I hear ya! Although, on platinum weddings just about EVERY single bride wore a

Tiara. They are so beautiful and they just say BRIDE to me. One girl paid $3,000 for hers! SO if you want to make your day the way you want it I say go for it all! Never too old for a veil, however if you are over 30 I would avoid the blusher (veil over the face) we all know you didn't wait 'til now for the boom boom! :)

Oh, no Rosetta. I have to disagree. I can still blush, sistah. In fact, I blush all the time. LOL!

To me, that's like the saying that you shouldn't wear white if you've been married before.

I had read that the blusher adds a certain softness and mystery to the bridal look. Ever since I read that, I was all for wearing the blusher. Even though the wind was blowing on that terrace, I was determined to wear my blusher...and to me that's part of the romance of the ceremony...when the new husband looks into his beautiful bride's eyes, and lifts that blusher for the first kiss as husband and wife. Oh, (hand on my heart) there's nothing sweeter. Woooooooweeeee! My hubby was so excited, he didn't even lift that blusher all the way up before he started kissing me. LOL! I know I have that pic posted! I'll have to post the one with the close-up of the blusher over my face.

Here's the close-up:

That wind was blowing, but don't I look mysterious and virginal? LOL!

Yes, here's the first kiss pic:

Hmm. Looking at that pic again, see y'all lata! I've got to get home to my Baby!

Re: tiara and veil or not

O.K. I'm back.

If 30 is the new 20 these days, then I think we have more freedom about these things......and does it really matter whether or not the couple are virgins? Especially if neither person has children, shoot, who knows for sure that you're not virgins except maybe for the doctor! It's just fashion! We should have fun with fashion and enjoy it...not take it so seriously...subscribing to archaic rules.

Rules like: "You shouldn't wear white after Labor Day." What???!!! White in winter is gorgeous!

White gowns are about Purity not so much virginity. But people still talk so don't front/ lol. White after Labor Day is usually a warm winter white na dnot the glaring clorox, tide clean white linen of summer. So notreally the same thing. I do love a white wedding dress. But I found that a warmer white (cream, off white, diamond white) looked better on my caramel colored skin. My skin is more of a burnt black now from our Sportfishing and my chronic cruising though!
