Exactly. Life and experience taught me that. The first time I got married( to Mr. Wrong ). I tried to please EVERYBODY. Trying to choose a dress flattering to evryone's body type , skin tone, you name it. Needless to say the bridesmaids ranged from a size 0-3 to 22. Was I dumb or what? You talk about stress.... I could not sleep at night etc. What I learned when it was all said and done the only people who gave a rip what the day was like or how special we wanted it to be remembered was me and What's his face. I know your sister in law must be special to you or you would not have asked her to participate but she has a job to do being a member of the bridal party and part of that is to run interefence against mishaps and cesrtainly not be the cause of them. she can sacrifice a little food if you mean to her what she means to you.
I think she feels its her wedding! I mean, people really kill me when they feel that it's they're show. And you are too right about not pleasing everyone! I have little time left & I have decided not to sweat the small stuff the show must go on!
That's right NTN. I would hate for you to look back at this time as one big headache instead of the magical time it should be. Tell her if she wants to plan an event where it will be all about her .... plan a birthday party.

A lot of people feel like it's their wedding. I had a member of my bridal party tell me that she wants to look cute and she's not sure if that dress will work for her. She went so far as telling me that she wanted to find another dress. I told her (my sister) that if she did, she would be wearing it for her own wedding and not mine! It's your day and as you said if sister girl has to sit in the pews, then so be it! In any event I wish you all the best.
